In the high wind pressure DTH rock drilling project, in order to achieve the purpose of * * fast rock drilling, it is necessary to select high-quality * * DTH bits, that is to say, DTH bits with different structures should be selected according to different drilling methods and rock types. A series of factors such as the end face structure of the bit, the shape of the powder discharge groove, the shape and size of the hard metal teeth, and the hardness of the bit body directly affect the rock drilling rate, the drilling quality, the straightness of the blast hole, the service life of the bit and the working efficiency. Therefore, it is very important to select suitable drill bits in rock drilling engineering.
As far as the high wind pressure down the hole drill bit (bit) is concerned, there are mainly four types of end face design, namely, end face convex type, end face planarity, end face concave type and end face deep concave center type. The hard * * metal is usually used with ball teeth, spring teeth or ball teeth, and the spring teeth are common.
1. End face convex type: the end face convex type high wind pressure down the hole drill bit (bit) can maintain a high drilling rate when drilling medium hard and hard abrasive rocks, but the drilling flatness is poor, and it is not suitable for rock drilling projects with high requirements for blast hole flatness.
2. Face plane type: face plane type high air pressure down the hole drill bit (bit) is relatively strong and durable, and is suitable for drilling hard and extremely hard rocks. At the same time, it is also applicable to medium hard rock and soft rock with low flatness requirements for drilling blast holes.
3. End face concave type: the end face of the end face concave type high air pressure down the hole drill bit (bit) has a conical concave part, which makes the bit form a slight nucleation during rock drilling, maintains the centering performance of the bit, and the drilled hole has a good straightness. In addition, this kind of drill has better powder discharge effect and faster drilling speed. It is a kind of high air pressure down the hole drill that is widely used in the market at present.
4. End face deep concave center type: the end face deep concave center type high wind pressure down the hole drill bit (bit) has a deep concave center part at the center of the end face, which is used for nucleation during rock drilling. Drilling deep holes can maintain the straightness of the blast holes, but its end face strength is weaker than that of other types of drill bits, so it is only applicable to drilling soft rocks and medium hard rocks.
